History

The Rain Stick, part of the family of ethnic instruments that mimic the sounds of nature, has a rich and exciting history. Pre-Columbian Andean indigenous peoples used them in religious ceremonies and rituals to connect with their gods and nature. The sound produced imitates the sound of rain, considered sacred and thought to bring rainstorms, making it a significant instrument in times of drought.

Commitment

Besides offering a high-quality product, we strive to preserve and promote the cultural traditions of Chile. We work directly with local artisans to ensure the products are ethnically accurate and environmentally friendly. By purchasing one of our rain sticks, you are acquiring a unique musical instrument and a piece of the history and culture of the Andean indigenous peoples. All our rain sticks are made from dried cactus, a process monitored by Conaf from collection to final export. All our products are supported by the CITES certificate, regulating the international trade of protected species.
